Job summary

Moody's Investors Service in London is seeking an experienced credit analyst to perform rigorous analysis for new and existing structured finance transactions across asset classes. You will assess transaction structures, collateral performance, and key credit risks to support rating opinions and formal committee materials.

You will engage with issuers, arrangers, servicers, investors and other market participants to gather information, present findings, and contribute to methodology

Qualifications

• 5+ years in credit, risk assessment, capital markets, securitization, or related financial services
• Understanding of structured finance asset classes and market participants
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for cash flow assessment
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder presentations
• Highly organized with ability to handle multiple transactions
• Attention to detail and quality in analytical work
• Knowledge of European languages (Dutch desirable)
• Basic understanding of AI concepts to enhance analytics

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analysis for new and existing structured finance transactions across asset classes
• Support assignment and surveillance of credit ratings with detailed analyses
• Monitor transaction performance and identify developments affecting credit quality
• Engage with issuers, arrangers, servicers, investors to gather information
• Contribute to rating committee discussions with analytical findings
• Collaborate with Moody's Ratings team for consistency and efficiency
• Author credit opinions and research content to support market transparency
• Contribute to methodology and AI-enabled tool adoption and process improvements
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices
