Moody's Ratings in London seeks a senior analyst to lead credit risk analysis for fund finance and asset management transactions, including surveillance ratings.

You will manage ongoing surveillance for Funds and Asset Managers, present recommendations to rating committees, and build critical relationships with sponsors, lenders and arrangers. You will contribute to Moody’s thought leadership and participate in industry forums, while guiding junior analysts.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of credit/risk assessment experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the analysis for assigning new and surveillance ratings to fund finance transactions (rated note feeders, subscription credit facilities, NAV loans, asset-backed lending).
• Manage a portfolio of Funds and Asset Managers with ongoing surveillance and credit assessments; present recommendations to rating committees.
• Build and maintain relationships with fund sponsors, lenders and arrangers to support analytical excellence and market insight.
• Represent Moody’s Ratings at conferences, webinars and podcasts, and author sector comments.
• Collaborate with Moody’s Ratings teams to drive excellence in credit analysis.
• Contribute to methodology and technology development projects to enhance analytical capabilities and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach junior rating analysts, supporting their growth and credit skills.

Skills And Competencies

• 5+ years of credit/risk assessment experience, with a proven track record in fund finance, asset management, or structured finance


• Demonstrated understanding of asset management and fund finance sectors, including key players, and industry drivers


• Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated public speaking and writing experience


• Strong quantitative aptitude and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modelling


• Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to multi-task and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can improve processes and drive efficiency

Education

• Master's in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent advanced qualification


• CFA/CAIA professional qualification would be highly beneficial

• Build and maintain strong relationships with fund sponsors, lenders and arrangers to support analytical excellence and market insight


• Represent Moody’s Ratings as a thought leader by presenting at industry conferences, webinars and podcasts, and authoring sector comments


• Collaborate with teams across Moody’s Ratings to drive excellence in our credit analysis


• Contribute to methodology and technology development projects to enhance our analytical capabilities and efficiency


• Mentor and coach junior rating analysts, supporting their professional growth and credit skills development
