Job summary

State Street is seeking an AVP of Product Management, Private Markets, to lead cross-cutting platform capabilities across private markets loan assets. You will own data, analytics, workflow automation, and API-based integrations, working with WSO, Versana, Siepe, and CRPM teams.

The role combines loan processing, investment operations, technology, and business strategy in a fast-moving, high-complexity environment. Hybrid work requires 4+ days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with loan products in financial services, fintech, or enterprise software, with exposure to private markets.
• Solid understanding of private markets operations across multiple loan asset classes.
• Experience owning platform-level or infrastructure product workstreams with technical complexity.
• Familiarity with data architecture concepts: data modeling, ETL, API design, event-driven systems.
• Experience with agile development and product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Productboard).
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or technical graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver roadmap for horizontal platform capabilities across private markets loan asset classes.
• Develop understanding of third-party loan platforms and data structures (e.g., WSO).
• Assess loan data usage within CRPM and explore bi-directional connectivity.
• Validate mappings and translate concepts into clear product and engineering requirements.
• Define and drive the CRPM loan data model and taxonomy across entities.
• Identify manual loan-processing activities and pursue automation and straight-through processing.
• Lead cross-asset portfolio analytics and client analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate use cases and prioritize opportunities.
• Define reusable integration patterns with third-party loan servicing and data providers.
• Lead agile delivery with backlog and ceremonies; track adoption and data quality.
