Job summary

Barclays Bank PLC in London is seeking an AVP for the Market Platform Solutions team to support the Equity Derivatives business. You will work at the intersection of business, quantitative research and technology to turn needs into scalable, well-engineered solutions.

Based in the London office, you will collaborate with QIS Trading, Structuring, Quants, QA and Technology, delivering end-to-end technology-enabled business outcomes while maintaining robust risk controls.

Qualifications

• QIS experience in systematic strategies or index products.
• Problem solving with practical coding ability (Python, SQL).
• Quantitative background with relevant qualification.
• Delivery of technology-enabled business solutions end to end.
• Strong communication across business, quant and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative structured products and solutions for clients, including derivatives and structured notes.
• Assess pricing and valuation; liaise with trading for competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with traders, risk managers and tech teams to implement solutions and mitigate risk.
