Barclays in London is seeking an AVP for Market Platform Solutions to support the Equity Derivatives business and help invest in the Quantitative Investment Strategies platform, focusing on digital client engagement, reporting and a scalable index infrastructure.

The role sits at the intersection of business, quantitative research and technology, turning business needs into scalable, well-engineered solutions with colleagues in QIS Trading, Structuring, Quants, QA and Technology.

• QIS experience in systematic strategies or index platforms.
• Strong Python and SQL coding ability.
• Quantitative numeracy with relevant qualification.
• Experience delivering tech-enabled business solutions end-to-end.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with senior stakeholders.
