Job summary

Moody's Ratings in London is seeking an AVP to lead analysis for assigning ratings to fund finance transactions, including rated note feeders and subscription credit facilities.

You will manage a portfolio of Funds and Asset Managers, present to rating committees, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate on methodology and technology projects to enhance analytical capabilities, including exploring AI tools for efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of credit/risk assessment experience in fund finance or related fields.
• Strong understanding of asset management and fund finance sectors.
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and writing skills.
• Proficient in financial modelling and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to multi-task and priorities under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and curiosity about AI tools to improve processes.
• Interest in responsible AI practices and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis for assigning ratings to fund finance transactions.
• Manage a portfolio of Funds and Asset Managers with surveillance and credit assessments.
• Build relationships with fund sponsors, lenders and arrangers.
• Represent Moody’s Ratings at conferences, webinars, and podcasts; author sector comments.
• Collaborate across Moody’s Ratings to drive credit analysis excellence.
• Contribute to methodology and technology development projects to enhance capabilities.
• Mentor and coach junior rating analysts.
