Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Site Maintenance Engineer for a new Avonmouth site, Bristol. The role is permanent, pays up to £50,000 and includes shift work with nights.

You will perform preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and improvements across facilities, plant and equipment to keep operations safe, efficient and reliable. Ideal candidates have hands-on site engineering experience, strong diagnostics and the ability to work independently within a broader engineering team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on background in site engineering is essential.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering function.
• Willingness to work shift patterns including nights.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Maintaining facilities, plant and equipment to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operation.
• Conducting regular inspections and ensuring site facilities are maintained to a high standard.
• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding, diagnosis and repairs.
• Working to agreed maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
• Recording all maintenance activities accurately and ensuring safety.
