Job summary

RGB Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Site Maintenance Engineer for a new Avonmouth site. The role is permanent and full-time with a shift pattern that includes nights, responsible for maintaining site facilities, plant and equipment to keep operations safe and reliable.

You will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, inspections and fault finding across multiple engineering disciplines, contributing to continuous improvement and site compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a facilities engineering, multi skilled engineering or maintenance environment.
• Hands-on experience across a range of engineering disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, fire and security systems and mechanical.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities with a proactive maintenance approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Maintain facilities, plant and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Conduct regular inspections and keep maintenance records up to date.
• Act as the Legionella Responsible Person, ensuring water systems are managed per legislation.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform effective fault finding and repairs.
• Work to maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines, aiming for first-time fixes.
