Malloy Aeronautics is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineers developing avionics and robotic systems. You will provide specialist engineering leadership, shape technical direction, and ensure safe, compliant delivery across programs.

The role balances long-term capability development with near-term execution, advocating high quality and a strong engineering culture in a Berkshire-based, in-house operation.

Qualifications

• Lead or management experience in engineering projects.
• Specialist in avionics/embedded systems or robotic control architectures.
• Familiarity with aerospace safety standards (DO-178/DO-254/ISO/IEC).
• Proven decision-making in complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist engineering leadership for avionics and robotics engineers.
• Set and maintain technical standards and processes.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace, safety and regulatory standards.
• Lead design reviews and risk management across programs.
