Job summary

Babcock International seeks an Avionics Engineer at Gloucestershire Airport, Staverton. You will maintain and repair complex avionics and electrical systems, working with the Avionics Supervisor to meet safety and operational targets.

The role is full-time, on-site in Staverton, Gloucestershire, requiring CAA Part 66 B2 AML and UK driving license. You will join a skilled team focused on safety, reliability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing aircraft avionics systems in line or base maintenance.
• Proven fault-finding and rectification of avionics and electrical systems.
• Understanding of aviation maintenance procedures and safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned line and base maintenance on rotary aircraft and avionics systems.
• Rectify defects per procedures and MEL.
• Diagnose and repair avionics/electrical systems to maintain airworthiness.
• Ensure tools and data are available to support maintenance.
