Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Avionics Engineer (B2 AML) for Cheltenham to support maintenance on rotary aircraft and avionics systems for a major UK defence organisation.

You will carry out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs, and liaise with other departments to ensure high quality work. A security clearance is required, with opportunities for training and progression within a globally respected defence employer.

Qualifications

In this varied role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned line and base maintenance work for rotary aircraft and avionics systems. You will work on a broad fleet to ensure continuing airworthiness through fault diagnosis, avionics repair and electrical system maintenance. Further to this you will be responsible for ensuring high quality of work as you liaise with other departments and customers.

The Role:
