Job summary
Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a Global Company to recruit an Avionics Design Engineer in the UK. The role offers full Part-21 design and certification training, with hands-on work on live avionics and cabin modification projects across commercial aircraft.
You will join a small UK design team, developing into a specialist aircraft design and certification engineer while progressing through structured training and development programs.
Qualifications
- Experience working with aircraft avionics or electrical systems.
- Willing to undertake Part-21 design and certification training.
- Ability to understand and interpret aircraft technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Full training in Part-21 aircraft design and certification
- Develop avionics and electrical modification designs
- Support cabin modification projects and integration of electrical and avionics systems within aircraft interiors
- Produce and interpret wiring diagrams and harness documentation
- Develop knowledge of EWIS and electrical load analysis
- Prepare Service Bulletins and accomplishment instructions
- Produce certification, compliance and technical documentation
- Support aircraft surveys, testing and installation activities
- Develop into a specialist aircraft design and certification engineer
