Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Transport Supervisor for the HADES programme, based on site at RAF Northolt in Greater London. You will lead daily transport operations, coordinating drivers, vehicles and tasking to meet demanding operational requirements while ensuring full compliance with MOD policy and road transport law.

The role is full‑time and permanent, operating on a 12‑hour rotating shift pattern (days and nights), averaging around 38.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Driver categories C and/or D, DCPC, or ADR desirable but not essential.
• Security clearance (BPSS/SC) required or achievable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transport operations, including driver allocation, vehicle tasking and rosters.
• Ensure compliance with road transport law, MOD regulations and service publications.
• Monitor driver hours, licences, competencies and documentation prior to tasking.
• Manage vehicle issues, faults and breakdowns per policy and reporting requirements.
• Prioritise and respond to short‑notice operational transport demands.
