Job summary

Babcock International is seeking an Air Movements Handler to support operations at RAF Northolt, near Ruislip, handling baggage, passengers and freight with focus on safety and efficiency.

You will work 37.5 hours per week in a full-time, permanent role, engaging with RAF personnel and other stakeholders to ensure smooth movement in a fast-paced, defence environment. A customer-service mindset and strong communications are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with customers and stakeholders face-to-face.

• Strong communication skills to interact professionally and diplomatically.
• Experience working safely and adhering to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move freight and baggage on and off aircraft and loading platforms.
• Assist RAF personnel with VIP escort duties.
• Support RAF Movements staff with a range of specialist operational activities.
• Engage professionally with customers, military personnel and key stakeholders.
• Maintain safe working practices and compliance requirements.
