Job summary

Draken is recruiting a Technical Instructor to join the Technical Training Department on a 9‑month fixed term contract. You will develop and deliver high‑quality training programmes for engineers, apprentices, and operational teams in line with aviation regulatory requirements.

The role involves delivering aircraft type training, conducting exams, and ensuring compliance with UK CAA, EASA, and other standards. Travel within the UK and internationally is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical, engineering, maintenance, or aviation-related training.
• Good working knowledge of UK CAA and EASA aviation regulations.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver training programmes in line with Part 147 and Part 66 requirements.
• Create and update training materials, syllabi, and examination banks.
• Deliver aircraft type training and other development activities.
• Conduct examinations, practical assessments, and invigilation where authorised.
• Ensure compliance with UK CAA, EASA, UK MAA, and other aviation regs.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory standards are met.
