Job summary

STS Engine Services at Stansted, Essex, United Kingdom, is hiring Engine Mechanic/Approved Technician to join the workshop team. This full-time role involves maintenance and repair of jet engines, with occasional off-base work near-wing or on-wing, and a shift premium opportunity for certain levels.

Applicants should have company approval on at least one engine type from the list (CFM56, LEAP, V2500, etc.) and a proven track record in a busy engine shop. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Time-served aerospace apprentice with at least 2 years post-apprenticeship.
• Experience in a busy engine shop on listed engine types.
• Knowledge of engine shop manuals and ATA chapters.
• Awareness of Part 145 and FAA regulations.
• Forklift licence is desirable, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work on maintenance and repair tasks as part of day-to-day workshop operations.
• Support turnaround of engine shop inputs to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Ensure work complies with manuals, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping to support efficient maintenance.
