Job summary

Babcock International Group is seeking a Site Operations Manager to lead day-to-day aircraft operations at RAF Cosford, Shropshire. You will ensure engineering, maintenance, flying operations and support services meet contractual and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include providing clear leadership, monitoring performance, and engaging with military and civilian stakeholders to uphold safety, service and compliance while developing your career in a high-profile aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in regulated operational or aviation environments.
• Strong leadership with ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Data-driven decision making and problem solving.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to manage priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations, ensuring aircraft, engineering and support activities meet contractual requirements.
• Manage and motivate onsite teams with clear leadership and performance oversight.
• Engage with military personnel and internal teams as stakeholders.
• Oversee reporting and performance data, ensuring accurate operational statistics.
• Maintain safety, regulatory and company procedures across all site activities.
