Job summary

Mitie is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead the day-to-day delivery of hard services and building fabric maintenance in a busy airport terminal. You will supervise a team of 11, allocate workloads, monitor performance and ensure work is completed safely and on time.

Working closely with the client, you will manage subcontractors, review quotations, and audit work orders while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Requires a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience supervising or leading an engineering team.
• Strong organisational and client-facing skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet timescales.
• Collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering staff, allocate workloads and monitor performance.
• Manage hard services and building fabric maintenance activities.
• Ensure work meets KPIs and health and safety requirements.
• Build relationships with the client and attend approval meetings.
• Manage subcontractors and audit completed work orders.
• Prepare reports using the CAFM system and support ad hoc projects.
