Job description

We are currently recruiting Aviation Security Officers to work at Farnborough Airport and surrounding areas.

Position Details:

Full-time permanent position - working 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on.
Hourly rate: £ per hour

CTC and DBS checks are required for all potential candidates.

Your Role at Work

As part of a team at Farnborough Airport, you will deliver excellent customer service and aviation security. Responsibilities include aircraft protection, aircraft searches, baggage searches, and passenger searches where necessary.

• Provide excellent customer service to passengers and customers
• Report all security incidents and concerns to the security supervisor
• Work positively and effectively with team members, airport staff, and airline colleagues
• Comply with training, security regulations, and company policies and procedures
• Maintain safety standards and act professionally at all times
• Dress smartly, be punctual, and complete tasks as required by the company or line manager
• Work efficiently to ensure timely flight departures

You will receive necessary training and a uniform to confidently perform your duties in line with security regulations and company policies.

Ideal Candidate

To be considered, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for at least 12 months
• Residency in the UK for the last 3 years
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to pass CRC check and all required training
• Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of employment, unemployment, or education during that period
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
