Job summary

Bombardier's Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill seeks a purchasing/inventory professional to support maintenance operations. You will manage purchase orders, coordinate with external vendors for overhaul and repair, track materials and tools, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-growing European network.

You will apply knowledge of aviation parts terminology, logistics processes, and EWIS/CDCCL where relevant, while maintaining adherence to MOE procedures and warranty

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Purchasing or Inventory Management required.
• Experience in aviation or material/parts environment.
• Knowledge of aircraft parts terminology.
• Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations.
• Knowledge of logistics processes.
• EWIS and CDCCL knowledge where relevant.
• Computer skills to learn and/or use required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures and MOE guidelines.
• Attend kick-off meetings and prepare purchase orders; arrange slots with vendors for overhaul/repair.
• Track materials, tools and ground support equipment for recertification and maintenance schedules; ensure tool calibration.
• Identify alternate/superseded part numbers.
• Schedule critical paths and assign priorities for parts.
• Determine priority items to ensure timely delivery and availability.
• Coordinate repair and overhaul quotes and lead times.
• Place purchase orders; ensure supplier conformance to requirements.
• Consider warranty and special programs when obtaining parts.
