Job summary

Aims: Allscreens Nationwide Ltd seeks an Engineering Operations Controller to provide 24/7 coordination for aircraft engineering status and flying programme support at a MOD site. The role involves rotating 12-hour shifts, close liaison with Flight Line Controllers, Main Operations and emergency services to ensure safe, efficient airfield operations.

You will manage operational databases, plan maintenance and coordinate visiting aircraft, engines running locations, and ground requirements, while

Qualifications

• Experience within aviation, engineering, military, defence or other safety-critical operational environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced operations environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering operations, maintenance planning or operational control processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with operational databases or engineering records.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and prioritise operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce and publish aircraft availability and status reports to support flying operations.
• Coordinate engineering and flight line activities across operational areas.
• Monitor and oversee flying programme execution with timely communications.
• Coordinate fuel support requests and deconflict competing operational requirements.
• Liaise with RAF Main Operations and other stakeholders regarding aircraft engineering matters.
