Job summary

DHL Air (UK) Ltd is seeking a Flight Operations Officer to join the 24/7 OCC team at EMA Cargo West, East Midlands Airport. The role ensures flights are dispatched and operated safely and on time, with proactive flight planning and fuel policy adherence.

You should have proven flight operations experience, strong communication skills, and be able to handle a rotating 12-hour shift pattern including days and nights. A GCSEs including Maths and English and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Proven flight operations experience with understanding of TAF/METAR/NOTAM.
• Knowledge of LIDO Flight or CFP systems.
• Good IT skills including NOP portal.
• GCSEs including Maths and English.
• Strong MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and operate flights safely and on time.
• Plan efficient flight routes in line with fuel policy.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers and monitor flights.
• Handle shifted rosters and adapt to workload pressures.
