Job summary

DCS Engineering is seeking an experienced Obsolescence Manager to lead the Obsolescence Management function from our Dorset Head Office. You will own the system and processes for obsolescence across aircraft, engines, components and mission equipment.

Working with OEMs, repair organisations and design authorities, you will identify risks, implement timely solutions and support the Safety Management System. The role is hybrid with regular on-site attendance at HQ and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CAMO/Obsolescence management.
• Strong knowledge of EASA/CAA/FAA regulations.
• Experience in a regulated aviation/aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Obsolescence Management function.
• Develop and implement the Obsolescence Management System and processes.
• Identify, assess and mitigate obsolescence risks across aircraft, engines, components and mission equipment.
• Ensure compliance with EASA, UK CAA, UK MAA and FAA requirements.
• Maintain compliance monitoring and assurance processes.
• Collaborate with OEMs and design authorities to develop technical solutions.
• Support the Safety Management System and flight-safety reporting.
• Manage audit findings and corrective actions.
• Provide specialist consultancy on obsolescence matters.
• Support delivery of operational and financial targets.
• Lead, mentor and develop colleagues; travel as needed.
