Job summary

The Boeing Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Controller for the Apache Phase Maintenance within the BDUK Vertical Lift MRO team at Middle Wallop. You will oversee planning, day-to-day control, and multi-disciplinary supervision to ensure on-time delivery with first-time quality.

You will lead the maintenance planning team, coordinate with engineering and customer stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and compliance with regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience leading aerospace maintenance teams.
• Apache maintenance experience desirable.
• Ability to gain 3rd signature authority.
• Strong communicator across multiple functions and with customers.
• Knowledge of MAA RA, MRP Part 145, QA and SMS processes.

Responsibilities

• MRO Maintenance controllers deliver Phase Maintenance and/or modification upgrades on aircraft within the operational environment.
• Lead the Maintenance Planning and Control Team to deliver input.
• Ensure team understands requirements per applicable work instructions and ATP/Engineering Instructions.
• Secure sufficient resources to meet aircraft milestones and on-time completion.
• Interface with customers during maintenance events.
• Manage integration of additional work within scheduled workload.
• Coordinate 3rd Signature of maintenance packages.
• Control and manage defects arising from maintenance or modification.
• Create and manage metrics; report progress to stakeholders.
• Participate in Continual Improvement workshops as SME.
