Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to own technically challenging aerospace projects, spanning structural airframe and propulsion, from concept through manufacture. You will develop complete solutions, deliver 3D CAD models and detailed drawings, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to meet certification criteria.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Proven background in engineering design with ownership of project-level technical delivery.
• Strong 3D CAD capability and experience creating manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Take a key role across established structural airframe and propulsion design programmes.
• Develop complete engineering solutions and guide them through internal review and approval.
• Ensure designs meet relevant technical standards, customer requirements and certification criteria.
• Create high-quality 3D CAD models and fully detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.
