Job summary

London Luton Airport Operations Ltd is offering an Apprenticeship Programme for a Apprentice Engineer in London Luton Airport. The role combines hands-on maintenance work with study to achieve a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician qualification.

You will work with experienced engineers, support improvement projects, and develop skills across mechanical, electrical and control systems while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above, or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Interest in engineering, technology or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Support engineers in diagnosing mechanical faults and identifying solutions.
• Participate in planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Learn to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.
• Assist with equipment inspections and condition monitoring.
