Job summary

Exeter Aerospace is seeking a Materials Specialist to provide on-site purchasing and logistics support for the Base Maintenance Business Unit, procuring consumables, rotables and expendables to keep aircraft turnaround on schedule.

You will enter orders via the Visaer system, carry out expediting duties to improve delivery times, respond to customer queries, and provide daily delivery status reports to the Check leaders and customer.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
• Ability to take initiative and work proactively to meet objectives.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for materials, rotables and expendables.
