Newcastle International Airport Ltd is recruiting an Engineering Technician (Level 2) to support the busy Engineering department in maintaining building services, electrical and mechanical systems across the airport infrastructure. The role involves hands‑on maintenance with a 42‑hour week on a 12‑hour shift pattern within a high‑safety, customer‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical Maintenance, Painting & Decorating, or Builder/Joiner.
• Knowledge of building services and building maintenance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heating and ventilation systems.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Maintain plumbing and toilet systems.
• Maintain baggage handling belt systems.
• Oversee lagoon and drainage systems.
• Carry plaster and paintwork.
