Job summary

Newcastle International Airport Ltd is recruiting an Engineering Technician (Level 2) to join our busy Engineering department. The role requires hands-on maintenance of electrical and mechanical building services, in support of a safe, reliable airport operation.

Working alongside a Skilled Engineering Technician, you will cover heating and ventilation, fire alarm and emergency lighting, plumbing and drainage, and building fabric tasks across the airport environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, electrical or mechanical building services.
• Experience with painting and decorating is desirable.
• Builder or joiner background an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heating and ventilation systems.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Maintain plumbing, toilet systems and drainage.
• Assist with baggage handling belt systems and building fabric.
