Job summary

British Airways is seeking a Maintenance Programme and Configuration Engineer to join the Maintenance Programmes and Configuration team within the Engineering Technical department. You will review aircraft maintenance and configuration requirements and translate them into our IT system, ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

You’ll work with internal, external and regulatory stakeholders on projects such as new aircraft entry, retirements and data manipulation, while demonstrating

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or higher qualification is essential.
• Aerospace Eng Part 66 licence or degree is desirable.
• Understanding of aviation regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technical development, set up, maintenance and regulatory compliance of the Aircraft Maintenance Programs and all aspects of Continuing Airworthiness control.
• Review and implement regulatory directives to ensure continued airworthiness.
• Represent the company in industry working groups as needed.
• Maintain safety and airworthiness through accurate AMP data management in EWS.
