Job summary

DCS Engineering is supporting a leading aviation organisation in Teesside for an initial 12-month assignment as Maintenance Production Planner. You will translate maintenance work scopes into executable plans, ensuring labour, tooling and materials align to delivery targets.

The role requires Part 145 experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment. SC clearance may be considered; UK residency expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aviation production planning, maintenance planning, or MRO operations.
• Strong understanding of Part 145 maintenance environments and maintenance flow requirements.
• Experience managing resource planning, materials coordination, and schedule delivery.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning systems or MRO software.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Relevant technical or engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules aligned to aircraft delivery targets and operational priorities.
• Translate approved maintenance work scopes into work packs and task sequences in line with company procedures.
• Ensure labour, skills, tooling, and materials are available to support planned maintenance activity.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure parts are available at point of use.
• Monitor progress against plan, identifying risks, constraints, and critical path issues.
• Drive recovery actions relating to delays, shortages, and emerging operational issues.
• Liaise with CAMO maintenance planning to ensure work scope alignment with the AMP.
• Maintain accurate planning records and configuration control data.
• Support safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure planning activities are completed in accordance with CAA Part 145 and internal maintenance procedures.
