Job summary

DCS Engineering is seeking an experienced Maintenance Production Planner for a 12-month contract based in Teesside, North East England. This role is crucial for supporting a base maintenance programme within a regulated aviation environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning experience and be responsible for translating maintenance work scopes into executable plans, ensuring alignment of labour, tooling, and materials with delivery targets. Familiarity with Part 145 maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aviation production planning, maintenance planning, or MRO operations.
• Strong understanding of Part 145 maintenance environments and maintenance flow requirements.
• Experience managing resource planning, materials coordination, and schedule delivery.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules aligned to aircraft delivery targets.
• Translate approved maintenance work scopes into work packs and task sequences.
• Ensure labour, skills, tooling, and materials are available for maintenance activity.
• Monitor progress against plan, identifying risks and critical path issues.
