Job summary

2Excel Aviation Ltd in Doncaster is seeking a Maintenance Controller to ensure aircraft readiness and coordinate between aircrew, engineering teams and operations. You will manage defect resolution, regulatory compliance and maintenance planning in a busy, safety-critical environment with shifts including 06:00-18:00 and 12:00-22:00.

The role requires strong knowledge of Part M/Part CAMO, Part 145 and Part 21 regulations, plus robust IT skills and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance/control role.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (Part M/Part CAMO, Part 145, Part 21).
• Excellent communication and IT skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate defect investigations and MEL compliance.
• Brief crews and relay information to engineers for troubleshooting.
• Ensure maintenance is performed by approved MROs.
• Maintain accurate aircraft status across information systems.
• Plan short-term maintenance and control ADDs and spares.
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines while ensuring safety compliance.
