Job summary

easyJet Airline Company PLC is seeking a Maintenance Operations Controller to supervise maintenance activities, ensure Part 145 and CAMO compliance, and liaise with suppliers and customers. The role requires 5+ years in line/base maintenance, an EASA Part 66 licence, and strong leadership.

Based in Luton with a fast-paced aviation environment. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to keep the fleet safe and efficient, while maintaining high customer focus and flexibility

Qualifications

• UK/EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 licence with ability to gain company Type authorisations.
• Minimum 5 years’ operational experience in line/base maintenance, ideally with Maintenance Control background.
• Extensive Airbus A320 family experience.
• Proven supervisory experience in aviation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Part 145 regulations, CAMO requirements, and relevant legislation (CAA, EASA, FOCA).
• Good understanding of maintenance schedules.
• Ability to gain and hold a Luton airside pass.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of AMOS IT system is beneficial.
• High customer focus and ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Willingness to be flexible to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting operational maintenance activities.
• Ensuring compliance with Part 145 regulations and Airline Part CAMO requirements.
• Communicating effectively with internal and external suppliers and customers.
• Escalating and communicating developing issues to management.
• Maintaining a high degree of customer focus.
• Working both independently and as part of a team across all levels of the organisation.
• Demonstrating flexibility to meet deadlines and overcome operational challenges.
