Job summary

STS Engine Services is hiring a Training Lead at Stansted, Essex, to lead apprentice development and technical training within a Part 145 engine MRO. You will ensure regulatory compliance and steer the ongoing capability growth of engineers and technicians.

The role focuses on delivering and evolving curricula, mentoring apprentices, and collaborating with HR and operations to sustain high training standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate.
• Experience working within a Part 145 MRO or similar aviation environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver structured training programmes for apprentices and the wider business, combining theoretical and practical instruction.
• Deliver on-the-job training aligned with individual learning needs and operational requirements.
• Design, deliver, and maintain company training programmes including Continuation Training, Human Factors, Form 1 Training, and bespoke modules.
• Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with apprentices to support development and track progress.
