Job summary

Teledyne Controls Repair facility in Cumbernauld, Scotland, is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician to join a growing team. You will perform aftermarket electronic and mechanical repairs, troubleshoot faults, and build familiarity with Teledyne Controls products through on‑the‑job training.

The role operates on a two‑week dayshift and two‑week backshift cycle, totaling 37 hours per week, with shift allowances and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical and electronics experience.
• Knowledge of electronics principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience testing electronic assemblies with tools such as multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply.
• Experience using hand tools and machine shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot products and circuitry, including functional, operational, and environmental testing.
• Analyse and interpret test data for component and system level repair.
• Enter data and provide written reports on test findings.
• Read and follow relevant schematic drawings.
