Job summary

First Call Contract Services Limited at Glasgow Airport is recruiting General Assistants to support a busy aviation catering operation. You will help prepare, organise and deliver food, supplies and equipment in line with schedules.

Shifts include Early, Late and Night with pay rate £13.20 per hour. You must be able to work in a chilled environment, handle pork and alcohol products, and work well in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Be comfortable handling pork and alcohol products.
• Be physically able to stand for extended periods and have good mobility.
• Be comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Have a basic understanding of English.
• Be reliable, hardworking and able to follow instructions.
• Be willing to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Production: preparing and plating food, handling and organising packaged items, packing amenity kits and flight condiments.
• Equipment: stacking and organising shelves, rotating stock, monitoring stock levels and reordering dry goods.
• Wash: cleaning duties, disposing of waste, washing catering equipment to industry standards.
• Search and Seal: inspecting goods, checking stock for damage, completing paperwork accurately.
