Job summary

SSP Group plc in Glasgow Airport is hiring a Commis Chef on a fixed-term contract until January 2027. The role covers early hours 3am-11pm, 30+ hours per week across weekdays, weekends and holidays, with a base rate of £13.43 per hour plus a night-shift uplift to £14.63 per hour.

You will work with brands in airports, training provided, opportunities to develop culinary career; 18+ and 5 references and criminal record check required.

Qualifications

• Ambitious and a team player seeking to progress your culinary career.
• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
• Due to Kitchen Assistant responsibilities, you must be 18+ to perform certain shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurate cooking and presentation to spec.
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
• Keep your workstation clean and organised.
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
• Training provided; nights experience is a plus.
