Job summary

First Call Contract Services Limited is recruiting General Assistants for Glasgow Airport to support a busy aviation catering operation. You will help ensure that food, catering supplies and equipment are prepared, organised and ready for delivery to airline customers in line with schedules.

Pay rate is £13.20 per hour. Typical shifts include Early, Late and Night, with departments in Production, Equipment, Wash and Search & Seal. You will be part of a fast-paced team in a chilled environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods and move around workplaces.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate food in Production.
• Handle and organise packaged food products; pack amenity kits and flight condiments.
• Stack and organise shelves; rotate stock and reorder dry goods in Equipment.
• Carry out general cleaning duties and wash catering equipment in Wash.
• Inspect goods for damage and complete relevant paperwork in Search and Seal.
