Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking an AV Field Technician to join our EMEA deployment team. You will install, configure and decommission audio-visual systems at client sites across the region, ensuring installations meet the highest standards and that issues are resolved promptly.

This role requires frequent travel across Europe and collaboration with EOS teams to deliver services in line with SLAs. You’ll perform room audits, post-install assessments, and on-site testing to ensure reliable performance

Qualifications

• Experience with AV/video conferencing system installation.
• Hands-on experience using tools and working with cables.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install and de-install AV systems across client sites in commercial environments
• Configure endpoints and supporting infrastructure
• Conduct room audits to optimise technology performance for various meeting room sizes
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and spaces ready for use
• Identify and resolve hardware faults and system failures
• Complete post-installation assessments and documentation
• Carry out on-site user acceptance testing and software upgrades
• Act as a technical escalation point, providing solutions for ongoing issues
• Collaborate with EOS teams to deliver AV services in line with SLAs and client expectations
• Communicate project updates and reports to management
• Document hardware failures and manage break/fix and RMA requests

The Role

As an AV Field Technician, you’ll be a key member of our EMEA deployment team, responsible for the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of audio-visual systems at client sites across the region. You’ll ensure technology is installed to the highest standards, troubleshoot issues, and deliver exceptional service in fast-paced environments. Installations will primarily take place in commercial and corporate settings.

Please note: This role requires frequent travel across Europe.

• Practical, hands-on experience using tools and working with cables
