Job description

Currently seeking a talented and experienced AV & IoT Installation Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will work closely with our Design & Development team in delivering our bespoke smart products/solutions to our customers.

As an AV & IoT Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of our bespoke products on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with assigned project managers and programmers to provide complete, fully functional integrated Smart Tech and AV systems.
• Install our bespoke new systems and technology.
• Inspect and test materials and machinery for safety.
• Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment.
• Participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of smart systems and automation solutions, and resolve onsite malfunctions.
• Provide technical support to customers and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Support internal teams with documentation.
• Assist with customer training.
• Support internal teams with site surveys and assessments when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Understanding of installing and commissioning assigned projects for the Advanced Visual Systems and Television Network.
• Hands-on experience in installing smart systems.
• Knowledge of systems integration techniques (IP protocols, Serial, ZigBee, IR).
• Understanding of audio DSP units, basic IP networking, and HDbaseT Technology.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally visit the office for equipment/tools pickup.
• Full, clean, valid UK driving license.
• Right to work in the UK.
