Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is looking for an Audio Visual Installation Engineer in London to manage installations across London and the South East, with the flexibility to work from home between client visits.

You will install and configure AV equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, and video conferencing systems, while following safety procedures. A company vehicle is provided for travel.

This role offers ongoing training and progression within a growing IT services division.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AV installation.
• Ability to read elevation drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure AV equipment to meet manufacturer specifications and client standards.
• Work independently or with other engineers to deliver professional AV solutions (projectors, displays, speakers, audio systems, video conferencing, control systems).
• Follow health & safety procedures, maintain tools/PPE, and keep the company vehicle in top condition.
• Participate in training initiatives to stay up to date with industry developments.
