A once in a lifetime opportunity has arisen for an Electro-Mechanical Build Technician who is passionate about building and testing robotics based autonomous vehicles. My client is a stealth robotics company based in the Reading area and they are seeing rapid scale-up, product development and investment. This amazing business is developing next generation underwater robotic vehicles which has massive potential across a range of different industry sectors, including defence, security, environmental and Sea Life monitoring.
The successful Electro-Mechanical Build Technician will play a key role in sub-assembly build, testing, and working closely with their design and hardware teams on how their prototypes can be improved. This role will also be instrumental in developing their lab and workshop space over the coming years. You will truly be able to influence and help shape this amazing device over the coming years.
Candidates must be British Citizens or have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years, due to needing SC clearance.
Preferred Experience:
If you’re passionate about both robotics, in particular autonomous underwater or submersible vehicle and unmanned vehicle industry, and you love building and testing within this space.
