Job summary

PHL Group operates the UTC at Lymington Hospital, Hampshire, and seeks an autonomous clinical practitioner to deliver high-quality urgent care for minor injuries and illnesses within a busy team.

You will need NMC/HCPC registration, a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, and advanced clinical practice qualifications. DBS clearance and the ability to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or HCPC.
• Experience in primary care and/or urgent care setting.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Minor injury and illness qualification (ideally at level 7).
• Masters qualification or equivalent experience demonstrating advanced clinical practice.
• Competent at taking a clinical history and performing physical examination for undifferentiated conditions.
• Mandatory education updated as required by policies.
• Maintain a clinical portfolio evidencing advanced heath assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clear understanding of professional responsibility and accountability.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload.
• Good clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis and management of acute primary care presentations.
• Be able to clear an enhanced DBS check / authorised to work in the UK.
