Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an autonomous Advanced Clinical Practitioner to lead clinical care within a secure setting at HMP Wandsworth. The post requires post-graduate Advanced Clinical Practice training, leadership, education and research experience, and will involve on-site work in a prison environment.

You will work within multidisciplinary teams, deliver high-quality care, drive service development, and contribute to audits and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate training in Advanced Clinical Practice.
• Experience in leadership, education and research within clinical practice.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the delivery of high-quality, safe, contemporary care with clinical excellence.
• Demonstrate leadership, resilience and develop others in the team.
• Manage custodial responsibilities: security of keys and adherence to prison procedures.
• Promote population health and contribute to service evaluation and quality improvement.
• Communicate effectively with carers and other health professionals; maintain care planning.
• Support and supervise trainees and junior clinicians within the service.
