Job summary

Lemon Drizzle Recruitment is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for Teesside. You will independently manage a portfolio of projects across new build and refurbishment sectors within a supportive, established group. The role requires commercially focused oversight, strong organisation, and a proactive approach.

The successful candidate will own the commercial processes from procurement to final account, working with subcontractors and internal teams to maintain cost control and project profitability.

Qualifications

• Independent and able to manage own workload with minimal supervision.
• Experience running multiple projects concurrently in a main contracting environment.
• Background in new build and/or refurbishment projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Preparing and issuing subcontract orders.
• Managing applications for payment and valuations.
• Cost forecasting and budget management.
• Preparing and maintaining CVRs.
• Identifying, pricing and managing variations.
• Monitoring project costs, margins and commercial risk.
• Collaborating with site and operations teams during delivery.
• Managing subcontractor payments and accounts.
• Attending project and commercial meetings.
• Contract administration and commercial reporting.
• Taking projects through to final account.
