Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking an experienced Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the Primary Care Services team within Argyll & Bute HSCP. You will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced care across primary and urgent care pathways.

The role involves advanced clinical examination, prescribing, governance, service development and striving for high-quality, person-centred care across the region.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Part 1 of the NMC Register.
• Extensive post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with undifferentiated and long-term conditions.
• Prescribe appropriately and refer to specialist services when required.
• Lead within the nursing team and contribute to service development and quality improvement.
