Job summary

Slice Solutions in Worksop is seeking a Part Time Practice Accountant to join a thriving accountancy practice. You will manage a varied client portfolio and handle personal and corporate tax computations, while delivering clear tax advice.

We welcome qualified, studying, part-qualified or PQE-by-experience applicants. The role is office-based, 20-25 hours weekly, with a salary of £45,000 pro rata. Study support and pension are available.

Qualifications

• Solid practice experience.
• Confident managing your own client portfolio from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax.
• A natural relationship-builder who enjoys client contact.
• Comfortable working across modern accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing your own varied portfolio of clients across sectors.
• Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax computations and returns.
• Giving clients clear, timely advice on personal and corporate tax matters.
• Preparing statutory and management accounts to a high standard.
• Building strong, lasting client relationships through regular contact and meetings.
• Liaising with HMRC and other bodies on behalf of clients.
• Staying sharp on the latest tax legislation and accounting standards.
