Job summary

Rural Warwickshire North Primary Care Network is seeking a skilled ARRS Paramedic to join the Dordon and Polesworth Group Practice.

You will deliver high-quality clinical assessments, triage, and evidence-based treatments for acute illnesses and long-term conditions, with on-site GP support and real-time guidance.

The role focuses on expanding same-day access, reducing health inequalities, and maintaining accurate EMIS Web records while collaborating with the MDT to provide joined-up care.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered paramedic with BSc in Paramedic Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years post-registration clinical experience in NHS settings.
• Post-registration modules or practical skills relevant to primary care (e.g., Minor Ailments, Advanced Clinical Assessment, Phlebotomy).
• Strong clinical judgement and decision-making within primary care scope.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical assessments, triage, and evidence-based treatments for acute illnesses and long-term conditions.
• Balance general clinic appointments, chronic disease reviews, and acute home visits.
• Escalate complex cases to GP/ MDT and maintain EMIS Web records.
• Support frailty management pathways and participate in audits to improve care.
