Job summary

South Warwickshire GP Federation seeks a Paramedic (ARRS) to join our Kenilworth and Warwick Primary Care Network. You will provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis, treatment and care for patients across the PCN, working with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, care coordinators and other allied health professionals.

You will contribute to urgent and planned care, improve patient outcomes and reduce health inequalities in our community.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree/Diploma in Paramedic Science or equivalent qualification.
• Essential: Current HCPC registration.
• Essential: Completion of the two-year Consolidation of Learning period as a newly qualified paramedic.
• Essential: Minimum of three years' experience as a Band 6 Paramedic.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, diagnose and manage patients with undifferentiated and complex conditions.
• Undertake urgent and same-day home visits remotely supported by GPs.
• Provide same-day assessment and treatment for acute and semi-acute illnesses within GP practices.
• Deliver holistic patient care and promote self-management and prevention.
• Support patients with acute and long-term conditions through evidence-based interventions.
• Perform clinical assessments and investigations where appropriate.
• Develop anticipatory care planning for vulnerable and frail patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient-centred care.
• Support quality improvement, audits and service development across the PCN.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure governance standards.
